Elizabeth has experience producing high quality digital illustrations of small finds and pottery. Illustrations are usually completed using Affinity Designer and files can be exported individually in TIFF or SVG formats (among others). A portfolio of her work can be seen below.
Quotes
Elizabeth’s day rate for illustrations is usually £200, but the number of illustrations that can be completed in a day depends on the assemblage. For small finds, this could be 2–4 artefacts in a day, while for pottery illustrations this could be up to 15 in a day. Every assemblage is different, so please do enquire to discuss the needs of your project and we can come up with a solution together.
To enquire about a quote, please send an email with the number of artefacts you need to be illustrated, preferred file format (if any), deadline, and any other requirements (e.g., whether multiple illustrations need to be laid out for publication).
Copyright
Illustrations are licensed for use under a CC BY 4.0 license. More information can be found on the Creative Commons website, but this means that the client can use the illustration however they want but must credit the illustrator.
Payment
Upon completions of the commissioned work, we send the files to the client along with an invoice for payment. Payment by bank transfer is preferred but can also be taken by cheque. Invoices are dated for the day they are issued and payment is due within 28 days unless prior arragement is made.
